Macy's Partying with her family

Grandpa took Macy for a ride.
Aunt Lynn and Logan

The Gurtners.

The Auld's

We had such a terrific afternoon with our family and friends celebrating Macy's 4th Birthday at grandma Linda's house. Friends and family came for a swimming party and some yummy food. Macy got to have her Dora cake and lots of ballons and got lots of new goodies that all got packed into the camper when we got home. ( We leave in the AM for our vacation.) One thing I feel so thankful for is the fact that my kids have all 8 great grandparents around to share their lives. Today I was able to get photos with grandpa and grandma Auld and grandpa and grandma Gurtner. We had so much fun. We were also really happy to get to see you Chad, Christa and baby Logan. He is definetly a keeper, so much so that I would love to keep him, what a doll.

SDI Picnic

SDI had their company picnic on Saturday. The kids had so much fun, they were exhausted. They had every refreshment imaginable. They also had lots of moon walks, but the kids favorite was the rock wall. Dylan and Dawson really liked it, but Maddie was obsessed. She kept at it for over an hour until she made it to the top. Today she was really sore. They had train rides and small amusement park rides. It is a really neat opportunity to get to see some of Michael's co-workers and get to know their family better. We had a ton of fun, and we got to hang out with Kenzie and Dawson too since Uncle Jason works there too.

Macy's Friend Party

Macy was blowing out her candles. Nana made another terrific cake.

The kids were painting their pet rocks. They worked on them for a long time.
The little boys with their shirts off, too cute.

Little Miss Steuben County

Maddie participated in the Little Miss Steuben County Pageant today at the fair grounds. There were 13 little girls in it. She did not win, but she did have fun. Two little girls from her class also did it, they were excited to see each other.

Our playhouse.

Dave and Lorrie made the kids a playhouse this Spring and I keep forgetting to get some pictures of it with the kids in it. Today they were finally all clean at once, no small task I tell you. Anyway, here it is. We think it is pretty fantastic. The kids have been wanting to spend the night out there again. They each have their own bunk.

Toothless Tutty

Maddie finally lost her first tooth. She realized that it was loose the last week of school and she just lost it a week ago. She was pretty excited. Her and Olivia lost them on the same day. Olivia is a year younger than Maddie but she thought it was so cool the tooth fairy came on the same day. Maddie got $6.00, we got caught up in the moment.

Ft. Wayne Children's Zoo

What a good looking guy. He was dressing for a safari.

Maddie still loves the goats, that has been her favorite every year since she could walk.
The three Oberlin kiddos. I sure think they are great kids.

We finally found time to get to the zoo this summer. Grandma Linda joined us too. The kids had fun, they are kind of getting tired of our zoo. They were a little bored, but it was a perfect day, and atleast they still love the fountains and the goats. It was also our first trip since the new part of the zoo opened, they did a really nice job on it. The lions were very cool.

4th of July

To celebrate the 4th of July we rode in the Hamilton parade with my friend Cory. We helped out the Hamilton Lumber Float. The kids had fun waving at all of their friends. It was also nice getting to spend the day with Cory. Dylan was a cool dude in his shades. It really wasn't sunny, but he definetly had the cool factor going.
Here is the float they were on. The actually did throw some of their candy out, they ate some too. Paul and Julie gave them 3 big bags full when we were done.

They were sporting their patriotic outfits. They even seem to be liking each other at this point.
