Party at Knox's

Alecia and Aleigha were enjoying so cuddle time. Aleigha was having some caramel dip without the apples. Who needs apples anyway.
Gavin and Hayden were answering a question from Thane, they were telling stories about Mike, Thane, Nathan and Andy when they were little.

Macy does an awesome job riding her bike. She loved the ramp that Thane made for the bikes.

Joel wanted me to take his picture, but the boys were so fast I kept capturing their back halves.

Gavin is too cute, I think blue is his color.

We had a fun evening playing at Knox's. The kids rode bikes and made smores. Aleigha was too cute on her pink and purple bike.

After all of that playing Macy really needed a drink.

Maddie was trying to go over the ramp without hands. That just sounds like something that would require stitches.

Dylan explaining his wreck with Joel, it was intentional. But according to Dylan he did not mean to do it.

Back to School 2009

Dylan is not really a morning person, there were lots of tears yesterday, did not like breakfast, backpack, shirt, getting up, and did not want to pack his lunch.
He is really going to miss morning cartoons with his sister. She really missed them too, she kept asking when is it time to pick them up, that was at 10am.

Dylan and his friend Xavier. He was so happy to get to be in his class.

Dylan and Logan, they are good buddies. We are friends with Logan's parents and the boys are so much alike. Look at those little blondes.

Me and my main man, this was before I cried all the way home. He was so independent and happy.

Dylan sleeping peacefully before I woke him up on day one of Kindergarten.

Finally, we waited forever on the bus this morning. It arrived and they were so excited. I hope Dylan is good on the bus, he gets a little hyper sometimes.

Our plan is to take a picture by this tree each year and see how much the tree and the kids have grown when they are seniors. Which will be like tomorrow.

Look at that smile, he was so happy about the bus.

Maddie and Dylan pausing outside the front door, we were headed down to the bus. Dylan had to be there late yesterday for Kindergarten orientation so today was the first day on the actual bus for both of them. That seems to be the highlight so far. That and recess.

Michigan Camping Trip 2009

One of the evenings on our trip we took the kids putt putting. Dylan kept losing his golf ball. Mike was getting a little discouraged having to retrieve it for him everytime.

Dylan was a sand castle building maniac. He liked the beach more than anyone else there.

Dylan makes this little ride look pretty exciting. He looks like he is driving really fast.

Dylan took this truck everywhere. He was surprised to realize that it floats.

Here is one of the window displays at the museum. They had every possible wildlife scene and the all looked real. It was really neat.

The kids were posing by the deer at the Call of the Wild Musuem in Gaylord. It was a really neat place.

Mike would not let Maddie help with his castle so she had to build her own, she kept crushing the ones Mike and Dylan were making.

Maddie had a great time on our trip, but she was the first to admit to missing her bed and her nana. It was a long time for the kids to go without seeing Kris and Neal.

She is always fast to pose for a picture.

Look at my sweet little girl, I cannot believe that she is 4 already.

This day Dylan was mikes little buddy. It was freezing on the boat tour. We had to get hot chocoalate, in August.

This is the boat tour we took, it was a little boring but Dad and Michael really liked it. They are history buffs.

Macy was being a little monkey. Every five minutes she wanted me to take another picture of her.

Dylan was ready for bed early, he was so cold. It was a high of 60 that day....BRRR. He also has marshmellow all over his face.

Polly Pockets were really popular this trip. Macy got a bunch for her birthday and then Kenzie gave them all of theirs.

Maddie and Dylan were posing on the beach at Brimley State Park in the Upper Pennisula. You would never guess that they fight when you look at this photo. Macy was being too grumpy, I couldn't even bribe her to get her into the picture.

Little Macy turned 4 on our first day. She is such a funny little girl.

Oops this one is messed up. Dylan loved the waves, he played in the water more than anyone on this trip, the cold did not slow him down at all.

Mike builds the best sandcastles ever. They made two castles and one sand crab while we were gone.

Macy with her 3rd and final birthday cake.
